Escape from Tarkov Twitch Drops Campaign Goes Live to Celebrate Icebreaker

Escape from Tarkov players everywhere can now soak up the rewards of a global Twitch Drops campaign, established by Battlestate Games to welcome Icebreaker, the 1.0.5.0 update. This campaign will work just as previous ones have, and for watching Twitch streamers playing Tarkov, you’ll rack up increasingly valuable cases in the game.

It has been a few months since the last sizeable Twitch Drops campaign tied to Tarkov, during which players unearthed potentially hundreds of cases full of loot.

Escape from Tarkov’s Twitch Drops Schedule Revealed

From today, May 26th, until Saturday, May 30th, you’ll be able to unlock exclusive Twitch Drops for watching any Escape from Tarkov streamer. Anyone broadcasting the pioneering extraction shooter is eligible, and all you need to do to farm drops is watch their content – simple!

Here’s a glimpse at the first day of drops and how it all works:

The tier for drops runs like this:

  • Common 1
  • Rare 1
  • Common 2
  • Rare 2
  • Common 3
  • Legendary 1
  • Rare 3
  • Common 4
  • Legendary 2

To get the full sweep of crates every day, you’ll need to watch nine hours of Escape from Tarkov streams. This might seem like a lot, but you can just leave something running in the background to generate more drops.

How to Claim Tarkov Twitch Drops

Firstly, you can monitor your progress on your Drops Inventory page on Twitch.

To claim your rewards, you’ll need to have linked your Battlestate Games account with your Twitch profile. This is how these crates will end up being sent to your in-game mailbox.

For now, all we know is that the campaign will yield ‘various rewards’, but if it’s anything like the last time this event occurred, you can expect a bounty of high-tier armor items, weapons, ammunition packs, survival items, and much more.

Let us know on the Insider Gaming Discord server which streamer you’re going to be watching during this event.
