Battlestate Games is on the verge of pushing out Escape from Tarkov as a 1.0 game after almost ten years as a beta product. This monumental event will bring about countless changes to the popular extraction title, which will potentially include the ability to finally escape from Tarkov.
Earlier today, the head of the studio at Battlestate Games, Nikita Buyanov, revealed that there will be one final wipe before the full release of Escape from Tarkov takes place.
One More Time
Nikita Buyanov sent fans of the spearhead extraction shooter into a frenzy after declaring on social media that there will be one last wipe before Escape from Tarkov is released in full.
Here’s what he said:
THERE WILL BE ONE MORE WIPE before RELEASE 🫡
But what can we take away from this?
Does this mean we’ll have one last wipe, and then a full ‘season’, and then the full release of the game? Or will we have one last wipe, and that turns into the full release of the game? If it’s the former, it could easily be another year until we see the full release of Escape from Tarkov.
It’s important to consider Buyanov’s words wisely, as they’re veiling something while attempting to drive up hype for Escape from Tarkov./
Until that time comes, we can assume that Escape from Tarkov will continue to see the regular rotation of updates and events that we’ve come to expect over the last few years. The team continues to rotate the 100% boss spawns, and as we get closer to the next (and final) wipe, we might see bigger, never-before-seen events take place on the platform.
