Epic Games continues to embrace AI technology, as shown by its announcement of the AI MegaJam, a multi-day November event where creators will use the technology and vibe code a brand-new game in just 4 days. Epic has previously said that Unreal Engine 6 will further deepen AI integration for creators and is encouraging those interested in this event to “Vibe their way to 50K.”
On social media, they posted a promotional image for the event. On the left, an obviously AI-altered hand with six fingers holds a red pill, suggesting creators can ship awesome games in a weekend. On the right, a normal hand holds a blue pill, symbolizing months of waiting to develop a prototype.
Epic AI MegaJam Offers Cash and $50K Continuation Grants
