A new announcement confirms that Enshrouded 1.0 will be released for PC, Playstation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro on October 15, 2026. XBOX release is set for Spring 2027.
Over the last few years, we have been hearing about all the updates the game has had during its early access period. However, Keen Games GmbH has announced that it is finally time for full release, with the 1.0 update arriving this Autumn. The developers have also released a teaser with the announcement.
Enshrouded 1.0 Release Date Teases New Features
With the confirmation of Enshrouded 1.0’s release date, the developers also teased some of the upcoming features in the new teaser video. The teaser video featured multiple gameplay clips, which included glimpses of combat, open-world exploration, and some of the building mechanics. The developers have added that information on improvements, optimizations, QoL changes, and that all the new stuff will be arriving “later this summer.”
What is Enshrouded
Enshrouded is a co-op survival action RPG set in an open world that includes base-building mechanics. In the game, you play as the Flameborn, the last hope of a dying race. The vast open world presents various challenges and offers many opportunities for players to scavenge resources. The building mechanics enable players to construct grand structures, customize every detail, and create shelters for NPCs who unlock workshops and provide the tools needed to craft epic gear.
The game includes intense combat against various corrupted factions, as well as challenging boss fights. Players can engage in hand-to-hand combat, dodge attacks, parry, and utilize a range of powerful skills and spells to defeat enemies. There are various crafting mechanics that allow players to create and upgrade legendary weapons and gear. Additionally, you can raid, build, and battle in 16-player co-op mode.
