In addition to the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Elden Ring Tarnished on the Nintendo Switch 2 will have never-before-seen content.
Elden Ring continues to be a resounding success for FromSoftware. In April, the development team announced that the game had surpassed 30 million copies since its release in 2022.
And that universe is set to expand as Elden Ring: Nightrein launches soon. Yet Nintendo fans have missed out on all of the fun. There hasn’t been a FromSoftware title on a Nintendo console since 2009. That’s all set to change as Elden Ring is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, and The Duskbloods is an upcoming FromSoftware project that will be a Switch 2 exclusive.
Elden Ring Tarnished Edition Gets Exclusive New Content

On the Bandai Namco website, FromSoftware confirmed that the title will also feature new armor, weapons, and customization features for Torrent’s appearance.
The development team provided no details about which new weapons will be available.
Additionally, reliable leaker Stealth revealed that two new classes will be introduced. We are still unsure when players can play the new content.
FromSoftware provided a 2025 release date for the Switch 2 edition but did not confirm a specific date. The latest Nintendo console is scheduled to be released worldwide on June 5.
