Despite Costing $80, Ghost of Yotei’s Deluxe Edition is Topping Charts

Ghost of Yotei Digital Deluxe Edition seems to have taken over the PlayStation Store’s pre-order charts, ranking first in several other countries.

Ghost of Yotei’s More Expensive Edition Tops Pre-Order Charts

Spotted by PushSqaure, Ghost of Yotei’s Digital Deluxe edition is topping the PS Store pre-order charts in the US, UK and several other regions, despite costing USD 79.99/£79.99. In the US, Yotei’s Digital Deluxe Edition is first, followed by EA Sports MVP Bundle, the standard edition of Yotei, DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Edition, and DOOM: The Dark Ages Standard Edition in the top 5.

In the UK, Ghost of Yotei’s Digital Deluxe Edition is again at the top, followed by the standard edition of Yotei, F1 25 Iconic Edition, DOOM: The Dark Ages Premium Edition, and DOOM: The Dark Ages Standard Edition as the top 5 most pre-ordered games.

Looking at the trend, with both Ghost of Yotei and DOOM: The Dark Ages’ more expensive editions ranking higher in the pre-order charts, players seem ready to shell out more money if some additional content is included. However, Xbox recently confirmed that it will increase the base price of standard edition first-party games to USD 79.99.

So what do you get for the price of USD 79.99/£79.99 when purchasing Ghost of Yotei’s Digital Deluxe Edition? It features the base game, a Snake Armour, Armour Dye, Horse & Saddle, Sword Kit, Traveller’s Maps and a Charm.

In other news, Sucker Punch recently revealed why a female protagonist was chosen for their upcoming title. Which Ghost of Yotei edition will you be pre-ordering? Let us know down below, and join the discussion in the official Insider Gaming forums.
