If you weren’t aware, the world has gone quiet. Everyone, from teachers to doctors to students, sits quietly at their gaming setups, toiling away in Shadow of the Erdtree. It’s the most significant expansion launch of all time, surpassing the impressive score of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Blood and Wine DLC. But does Shadow of the Erdtree have achievements for you to strive toward?
Are There Shadow of the Erdtree Achievements?
Unfortunately, there are no achievements in Shadow of the Erdtree. While the base game features more than 40 achievements/trophies to unlock, the expansion, which will take up to 30 hours to complete, doesn’t offer a single one.
Instead, if you’d like to capture your achievements in-game, take a screenshot and share it with the world. It’s a small concession, as I know many of us would enjoy having an actual achievement or trophy tied to particularly tough bosses, but it’s unlikely to happen post-release. Never say never, though!

Who is the Hardest Boss in Shadow of the Erdtree?
You will face countless challenging bosses in Shadow of the Erdtree. They’re some of the most difficult in the entire game, with the difficulty ramping up significantly the moment you enter the new zone. Even if you’re level 150 or higher, you’ll find yourself getting crushed by many of the new bosses and, sometimes, even the mobs.
But to answer the question of who the hardest boss in Shadow of the Erdtree is, it is by far Radanh, Consort of Miquella. He’s the expansion’s final boss and, as such, the most difficult in the entire area.
I genuinely thought it would be Messmer the Impaler. After all, he’s the poster child for the expansion. While he’s demanding, he’s not the toughest of them.
