Dead Island 2 is the next game available to Xbox Game Pass.
With other games coming to the subscription service, it seems as though Microsoft was holding off an announcement for a later date. The game is now appearing as available on Xbox Game Pass on console as well as via the cloud.
It’s worth noting that Microsoft has yet to make any announcement of the game coming to the service. That said, it seems like a moot point with it clearly showing up for players.
Dead Island 2 launched in April 2023. Should you not have an Xbox Game Pass or an Xbox, the game is also available on PC, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.

Recently, Xbox announced that it has reached 34 million game pass subscribers. That number includes those members who were Xbox Live Gold members who didn’t have a game pass subsscription before they were converted to Xbox Game Pass Core members.
