Finding The Pistol in Dead Island 2
In Dead Island 2, exploring is key. Despite the game having a “semi-open world”, there are still plenty of places to explore. To find the pistol, you’ll first need to be at Venice Beach and have the objective “Beach Offensive”.
During this time, you should be on Venice Beach, trying to find the quarantine corridor. On the beach, you’ll see several large landing crafts in the sea, with two of them having their landing bay doors open.
Head towards these two landing crafts and enter the first one. You’ll need to crouch to go under the pallet held by the forklift. Here, in front of you, you’ll see the blue hair-trigger pistol on the ground surrounded by blood.
By this point, you should already have a decent amount of ammo if you’ve been exploring and scavenging. However, remember to use your ammo conservatively. In Dead Island 2, gun ammo is difficult to find.
As a top tip, try and save as much of this ammo as possible for the Quarantine Corridor, which is filled with the most amount of zombies you’ll encounter yet.
