Cyberpunk 2077 Teased For Xbox Game Pass

Melissa McGamepass needs to stop letting her emails leak. Anyway, it appears that Cyberpunk 2077 may be coming to Xbox Game Pass.

The Xbox Game Pass Twitter account recently shared another “leaked” email from the fictional Melissa McGamepass. In the note, a new game coming to the platform was teased. It was said that there are so many breathtaking worlds to explore and that this next Edition would be a “v good one, too,” with the letter V being bolded.

Speculation has begun that the game coming is Cyberpunk 2077, because V is the protagonist’s name. Other emails in the social media team’s inbox include a message from Mortal Kombat’s Johnny Cage asking to become the streaming service’s mascot. The Doom Slayer also shared a message, just an ellipsis.

Recent Shakeups At Xbox

Thankfully, Melissa McGamepass has retained her role as the “Chief Executive Director Chair of Senior Operations & Grand Liaison of Video Game Communications” at Xbox Game Pass. However, Xbox has undergone some very real changes recently. Phil Spencer recently retired. Former Xbox President Sarah Bond resigned from the company. Now, Matt Booty and Asha Sharma are in charge, with Sharma serving as CEO of Microsoft Gaming.

Recent messaging from Sharma has been steady on a recommitment to core Xbox gamers. She’s also shown a desire to create stories that elicit emotional responses from players. Learn more about her plans for Xbox at this link.

Insider Gaming will continue to provide the latest information on all games coming to Xbox Game Pass.
