Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Nintendo Switch 2 Release Window Revealed, It’s Claimed

There is still one big gaping hole in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s library: A Nintendo Switch 2 port. It’s achieved unimaginable success on PS5, PC, and Xbox, but we’ve all been waiting on a handheld Nintendo port to relive the journey again, or maybe it’s your first expedition.

I don’t feel there’s much else that can be said about Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 at this point.

Sandfall Interactive‘s 2026 release blew the gaming industry away. Record-setting awards and millions of units shifted, and everyone is waiting for the future of the series.

Until then, let’s take a quick peek into the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 status.

One of the most reliable insiders in the gaming industry has confidently declared that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 this year.

NateTheHate was recently asked for an update on Clair Obscur on Switch 2, and the insider replied:

‘It’ll come to SW2 this year.’

WHEN it’s dropping is anyone’s guess, as the gaming calendar is about as manic as it’s ever been.

September 2026 is proving to be one of the most ridiculously stacked months in forever, with few publishers willing to publish games around October or November—due to a GTA 6-sized reason.

If I were to hazard a guess, it could arrive as a special announcement during the Gamescom 2026 season, but don’t quote me on that. Either way, we should get Clair Obscur on Switch 2 this year.

Check out the ‘Thank You Update,’ and everything that came with it.
