CD Projekt Red has revealed that development of their new IP is going well and is now in the conceptual phase.
The developers of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher franchise have been hard at work supporting their current games while developing upcoming titles. Just this week, Cyberpunk 2077 devs announced a PS5 Pro Enhanced update with support for PSSR is coming soon. Now, a positive update on their new IP.
Project Hadar’s First Video Game has Reached the Concept Phase
In the latest video on CD Projekt Red’s 2025 financial results (via Shinobi602), Chief Financial Officer Piotr Nielubowicz provided an update on their new IP, Project Hadar. Towards the end of the latest video, Nielubowicz teased that he has a cool new highlight to share with the community: their third internally developed new IP, codenamed Hadar. The CFO confirmed that this title has “moved on to the conceptual phase of the first video game” (translated by YouTube).
CD Projekt Red’s CFO also took players through the highlights of 2025, including the Unreal Engine tech demo for The Witcher 4 in June. Regarding their other franchise, the teams at Boston and Vancouver, aided by the people in Poland, have brought Cyberpunk 2 out of the concept phase and into pre-production. Moreover, Cyberpunk 2077 has become available on more platforms, with the Ultimate Edition releasing for the Switch 2 and Macs.
In other news, CD Projekt Red has stated that they have “no plans” to make new DLCs or expansions for Cyberpunk 2077.
