More on the March 26 Borderlands Update
The update arrives alongside the first story pack DLC. This initial pack, called “Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned,” introduces a brand-new region of Kairos, new story missions, and the first new Vault Hunter for Borderlands 4, C4SH. The Borderlands social media team even provided some gameplay of C4SH.
There’s at least one more story Pack DLC to come out by the third quarter of the year. Learn more about the full roadmap here.
Unfortunately, for those hoping to enjoy Borderlands on their brand-new Nintendo Switch 2, production of the game on the console has halted. Learn more here.
The upcoming DLC pack will be released at 4:00 p.m. ET. The update is approximately 20 GB, and all players will need it regardless of whether they own the DLC for the new story pack. Insider Gaming will continue to monitor any updates coming to Borderlands 4.
