Capcom has announced a 40-minute Spotlight presentation for Tokyo Game Show 2026, promising the latest news on its upcoming games and major releases.
The news was officially announced by Capcom on social media, which revealed that this will take place on September 16 at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Capcom also warned that the content may not be suitable for all ages.
What Games May Be Featured at the Capcom Spotlight?

Capcom has been on a roll this year. In the fiscal year ending in 2026, they achieved a record 93% of sales from digital channels. They also released Resident Evil: Requiem, one of this year’s best-selling games and the fastest-selling game in the franchise.
For this upcoming event, some of the games that may be shown include the previously announced Resident Evil: Veronica, Mega Man Dual Override, and Monster Hunter: Outlanders. There’s always a chance we’ll see DLC for existing video games, new collections, and maybe even teases of continuations of big franchises such as PRAGMATA.
The most recent Capcom Spotlight event took place in June. That event featured looks at several games, such as Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and the aforementioned Resident Evil: Requiem. There were also DLC announcements. Monster Hunter Stories 3 and the upcoming Street Fighter movie, which is due to release in October, were also featured.
Insider Gaming will have boots on the ground in Tokyo and will bring all the news Capcom announces at the event.
