XBOX has revealed the first wave of Game Pass games for September 2026, with seven titles joining the subscription service this month.
Among the titles joining the service this month are a Call of Duty game, the latest in the Virtua Fighter series, and the latest evolution of RuneScape. You can see the full list below.
XBOX Game Pass Reveals 7 Games for September 2026 Wave 1
XBOX Game Pass is a subscription service for console, cloud, and PC players that offers a set of games each month in two waves across different service tiers. The first wave in September 2026 features 7 new titles.
The first wave of games was announced via the XBOX Wire. It includes titles such as the upcoming RuneScape Dragon Wild, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, Dice a Million, and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Also, TCG Card Shop Simulator is leaving game preview and launching officially on September 15.

Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass - Speedrunners 2: King of Speed (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – September 3
Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass - Dice a Million (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – September 4
Now with Game Pass Premium; joining Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass - Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (Cloud, Console, and PC) – September 8
Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, PC Game Pass - The Royal Writ (Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, Handheld, and PC) – September 10

- RuneScape: Dragonwilds(Cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC) – September 15
