LCK organization BNK FEARX has posted a cryptic statement on their social media channels, clarifying that their players have not received permission to make contact with other teams.
The statement follows a Sheep Esports report that claims that the BNK FEARX trio of Jeon ‘Raptor’ Eo-jin, Kim ‘Taeyoon’ Tae-yoon
and Kim ‘Kellin’ Hyeong-gyu are set to join KT Rolster when the free agency period begins in November.
The supposed League of Legends transfer would see the trio join Top Laner Lee ‘PerfecT’ Seung-min and LCK 2025 Player of the Year, Mid Laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-sung, in KT Rolster to complete their 2027 roster.
BNK FEARX release statement as KT Rolster rumors spread
Following a week of rumors that have linked the BNK FEARX trio with a move to KT Rolster, BNK FEARX made the following statement on social media:
As unverified speculation surrounding the BNK FEARX LoL team roster has recently been spreading, we would like to clearly clarify the facts.
BNK FEARX has not granted permission for any roster members to make prior contact with other teams, nor have we received any official inquiries or reached any mutual agreements regarding player acquisitions.
We sincerely thank all the fans who always support BNK FEARX.
The original Sheep Esports report notes that the communication between KT Rolster and BNK FEARX was not directly permitted by the organization.
To quote Sheep Esports, “The three players remain under contract with BNK FEARX until November 16, 2026, and have not yet been allowed by the organization to explore their options with other teams.”
Therefore, the statement does not contradict the Sheep Esports report, which notes that permission for discussions had not been granted yet, but contact may have happened nonetheless between KT Rolster and the trio of players.
In that case, the statement may instead be clarifying that any discussions that have taken place were unauthorized and therefore outside of contractual agreements, and therefore considered ‘poaching.’
BNK FEARX may therefore be setting the stage for challenges regarding the prior contract if the deals come to fruition. That will become clear following the completion of Worlds 2026, when the LCK free agency period begins.
Another way to interpret the statement is to understand it as a message to fans, who may be disappointed to be losing the trio. By stressing that the organization is not permitting the communication, it may reflect that the organization itself is not trying to lose the players.
For now, the ultimate outcome of the situation remains unknown, but Insider Gaming will keep you up to date with all the developments as they happen.
