Could Blizzard be holding another Diablo 4 Beta? Based on teases from the official Diablo Twitter account, that could be the case.
On Thursday afternoon, Blizzard is holding a 90-minute developer presentation all about Diablo 4. The stream will include details on what was uncovered during the two betas in March as well as information on Diablo 4’s endgame.
However, there is something else coming during the event. Franchise general manager Rod Fergusson posted on Twitter asking if this event was the one with a new announcement.
“[I]s this the one with the secret announcement or are we not talking about that yet? I would hate to give it away,” he said.
When fans started asking if that meant another beta was happening, the official account decided to get in on the action by simply replying, “That can be arranged”.
The first two betas — one closed and one opened — were held back in March. Despite issues with queue times at the start, Blizzard says that over 61.5 million hours were played during the two betas. Players also killed close to 30 billion monsters while seeing what the game has to offer.
Diablo 4 launches on June 6 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.
