Black Ops 7 Beta Already Receiving Big TTK Changes After Complaints

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 beta is live. Many of you have already racked up an impressive match tally, but the TTK conversation has been arguably the biggest talking point. It turns out Treyarch is listening and making changes accordingly.

Another year, another discussion about TTK. It seems almost impossible to find the right balance between a CoD TTK being too slow and too fast. Black Ops 7’s beta is well underway, and if you’ve been lucky enough to get and redeem a BLOPS 7 beta code, you’ve experienced the chaos for yourself. If you’re finding the TTK to be too much, changes are afoot.

Black Ops 7 TTK Will be Adjusted

Treyarch has been listening to your feedback loud and clear. In a new blog discussing upcoming changes, the first big topic they delved into was the Black Ops 7 TTK.

Here’s what they had to say:

“Time-to-Kill (TTK) and overall weapon balance has been a conversation we’ve been keeping an eye on, along with evaluating in-game data from day one of the Beta. While we’re starting the Beta with a TTK in the range of Black Ops 6, we’re aware that some players feel it may be slightly faster than desired. As a result, we’ll be releasing a weapon balance pass in the coming days to adjust TTK and ensure all weapons available in the Beta are competitive within both their class and their intended role within Black Ops 7.”

The message doesn’t explicitly say it’s being slowed down, but saying “we’re aware that some players feel it may be slightly faster than desired,” and then continuing to say weapon balancing is coming, suggests the TTK is being lessened in some capacity.

Whether it’s targeting certain weapons or the overall TTK as a whole remains to be seen. We’ll keep monitoring Treyarch and Call of Duty socials for further updates on the TTK adjustments.

How have you found the Black Ops 7 beta so far? Is Call of Duty back? Or does Battlefield 6 have nothing to worry about? As always, let us know through the Insider Gaming forum, and don’t be afraid to leave comment below.
