We’ve learned that not only are the Black Ops 1 and 2 ports not cheap, unless you get the discount, but they also do not include the DLC as standard, and you’re not really getting any substantial graphical upgrades, if any at all.
A few questions have been answered about the Black Ops 1 and 2 ports at release, such as whether they’re cross-platform on PS4 and PS5.
Another big one people have been asking about is both games’ graphics. The answer is in, and it’s not a great one.
No Graphical Improvements For Black Ops Ports on PlayStation

As reported by Charlie Intel: ‘The Black Ops and Black Ops 2 ports on both PS5 and PS4 don’t include any graphical updates and don’t support 120FPS. There’s also no FOV sliders.’
You might have thought that even without the official ‘remaster’ status slapped on, there could be a simple graphical improvement.
But no.
These appear to be exactly what they say on the tin, ports ripped from the PS3 era, with X user @Fiend2Scoiety saying: ‘It looks pretty much identical to BO2 on PS3,’ adding that the ‘opening cutscene of the game is blurry and at a very low resolution.’

Any concerns about these being expensive ports appear to be coming true, with one of the only major differences being the addition of fresh trophy lists on PS4 & PS5:

- Complete Black Ops 2 PS4 and PS5 Port Trophy List (2026)
Worse still, it’s confirmed that Wager Matches and Theater Mode are missing, which means you’re paying a hefty wad for even fewer features than the original games!
Here’s the OG BLOPS 1 trailer, and, to be honest, the port won’t look much different!
