Back in the day, gaming LEGO sets weren’t much of a thing. Instead, we’d have to cobble together loose bricks in order to best fashion our favorite heroes and squint a little bit just to be able to convince ourselves that our red and blue stack of 2x2s was, in fact, Super Mario.
But in 2026, LEGO gaming sets are all the rage, and there are many incredible options to choose from. Maybe you’re doing some holiday shopping for a kiddo, or maybe you’re here because you’re a fellow adult gamer who still loves to throw together a LEGO set or two (or seventeen) every year. Let’s lay out your best options.
Best Video Game LEGO Sets Available in 2026
Truly determining the best LEGO sets for gamers in 2026 comes down to preference in many cases. If you’re a Pokémon fan, you’ll almost have choice paralysis due to the sheer number of LEGO sets below. The Legend of Zelda diehards, on the other hand, currently just have one lone set to choose from (thankfully, it’s amazing).
As we approach Christmas and the holidays, here are your best LEGO choices if you’re either buying for yourself or another gamer in your life, with multiple price ranges considered.
Pokémon

As it stands, Pokémon and LEGO really seem to be going all-in on their partnered sets at the moment. This isn’t much a surprise when you consider the series seems more popular than ever these days.
The best LEGO Pokémon set is the Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise collection, but it also comes with a hefty $649.99 price tag. Still, if you’re in the market, it’s incredibly cool.
Here are the best Pokémon-related LEGO sets currently in stock:
- Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise – $649.99
- Iconic Trainer Moments Poké Ball – $299.99
- Pikachu and Poké Ball – $174.98
- Arcanine – $99.99
- SMART Play™: Cubone and Gengar’s Spooky Showdown – $89.96
- Up-Scaled Red Minifigure – $79.99
- SMART Play™: Mewtwo’s Lab Break – $69.96
- Eevee – $47.99
- SMART Play™: Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly Battle – $34.99
- SMART Play™: Charmander and Geodude’s Cavern Clash – $19.99
Super Mario

Super Mario and LEGO are a match made in heaven, and the companies have partnered to bring a wide collection of options to the table for fans. For example, the showstoppers here aren’t just standard Mario-related scenes, but instead, the 2000-ish piece Mario and Luigi kart builds.
The kart sets are two of the priciest, but there are some other nice options as well (though many are retiring soon!). Mario is a LEGO partnership that seems to sell out quickly, judging by the high number of older of sets we’ve already missed out on, so just keep that in mind.
- Donkey Kong™ Arcade – $199.99
- Mario Kart™ – Luigi & Mach 8 – $179.95
- Mario Kart™ – Mario & Standard Kart – $149.99
- Mario Kart™ – Interactive LEGO® Mario™ & Standard Kart – $41.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Adventures with Interactive LEGO® Luigi™ – $46.49 (Retiring Soon)
- Adventures with Interactive LEGO® Peach™ – $44.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Party at Toad’s House – $29.99 (Retiring Soon)
The Legend of Zelda

There haven’t been nearly as many official The Legend of Zelda/LEGO partnerships compared to Mario and Pokémon. In fact, there are currently only two TLoZ sets on LEGO’s website, and one of which, the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1, is sadly sold out from LEGO directly.
Still, the lone remaining Zelda build is perhaps the coolest set on this entire list. In fact, if anyone buying Christmas gifts for me is reading, this is the one. Ocarina of Time hype has never been higher with 2026’s remake, and this LEGO set captures the magic of the original game perfectly.
Minecraft

If you have talked to a kid in the last decade, you know how big of a deal Minecraft is. LEGO noticed this as well and got into the action with a huge collection of partnered sets. In fact, no other gaming franchise has as many themed sets on the market right now as Minecraft.
They’ve been so popular that many are currently out of stock, and several have also been retired from production. The Ghast Station set looks like the most interesting build, but here’s what else you can currently get that stands out, which also includes many price-friendly options compared to other titles:
- Ghast Station – $109.95
- The Ender Dragon – $58.99
- Wither Battle – $51.99
- Mini Biomes – $47.95
- The Creeper™ – $31.95
- Chicken Jockey – $29.99
- Zombie Dungeon – $23.99
- Chicken Farm – $15.99
- The Warden Encounter – $15.95 (Retiring Soon)
- Steve’s Taiga Adventure – $8.29
Fortnite

The colorful, competitive third-person shooter that seems like it’ll live forever, Fortnite‘s visual style and building mechanics made perfect sense to combine with LEGO. Currently, the coolest Fortnite LEGO set is Rave Cave, which even features a functioning roller coaster track.
Still, if you’re looking for something with less of a footprint or a smaller dent in your wallet, there are plenty of other awesome Fortnite LEGO sets as well (but sadly not the Battle Bus, currently on backorder).
- Rave Cave – $227.97
- Klombo – $97.97
- KIT – $107.00
- Durrr Burger Restaurant – $49.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Supply Drop – $37.95
- Supply Llama – $23.99
- Supply Llama & Fishstick Figures – $24.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Peely & Sparkplug’s Camp – $22.96 (Retiring Soon)
- Tomatohead – $14.97
- Drift & Raven Figures – $17.49, 30% Off (Retiring Soon)
Sonic the Hedgehog

It’s hard to roll around at the speed of sound when you’re constructed of LEGO bricks, but that hasn’t slowed down the production of a wide array of fun Sonic the Hedgehog-themed sets over the years.
The big highlight here is the Team Sonic Command Truck, featuring Sonic himself, sidekick Tails, Metal Sonic, and a couple of bonus enemies in the Burrobot and Caterkiller. If you’re looking for other Blue Blur options, here’s what you can get:
- Team Sonic Command Truck – $63.98 (Retiring Soon)
- Shadow’s Mech vs. G.U.N. Trooper – $49.99
- Tails’ Tornado-1 – $29.95
- Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic – $24.49 (Retiring Soon)
- Sonic’s Campfire Clash – $19.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Sonic the Hedgehog™ Key Chain – $5.99
Animal Crossing

I’m not sure I would’ve predicted an Animal Crossing x LEGO crossover, but when you consider how globally massive the franchise got back in 2020, it starts to make some more sense. Either way, these are some of the best LEGO gaming sets on the market in 2026.
I’ve always obsessed over supplying Blathers with as many fish, fossils, and bugs over the years in the Animal Crossing titles, so it’s awesome to see our feathered friend and his historic establishment highlighted by LEGO. If you’re looking for anything else AC (and perhaps more raccoon-related), you have a couple options.
- Blathers’s Museum Collection – $79.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Timmy & Tommy’s Fun Day Out – $59.99
- Stargazing with Celeste – $9.99 (Retiring Soon)
Horizon Zero Dawn

Horizon Zero Dawn was always a bit of an odd partner choice, particularly when you remember the unfortunate dud that LEGO Horizon Adventures was for consoles in 2024. Still, Horizon is a great series, and its LEGO set to go with it gets the job done.
The Aloy & Varl vs. Shell-Walker and Sawtooth isn’t quite the same spectacle as the Tallneck (sadly retired), but it’s still very cool to get multiple mini-figs and robo-animals in one set here.
Video Game Consoles and More

I know what you’re thinking. Maybe there are just too many good options to pick from in terms of video game LEGO sets in 2026. Or perhaps you’re buying for a friend or relative that you know is a gamer, but you aren’t totally sure which franchises are their favorites.

Luckily, LEGO still has options for you, like the PlayStation, SEGA, and Game Boy sets that are modeled after the consoles themselves. Or, if you need to get even more generic than that, LEGO has that covered as well. Here are the best consoles and miscellaneous gaming-related products you can currently buy:
- PlayStation™ – $179.99
- Comic Book and Game Store – $99.99 (Retiring Soon)
- Game Boy™ – $59.95
- SEGA® Genesis™ Console – $39.99
- Arcade Machine – $31.99, 20% Off (Retiring Soon)
- Retro Gaming Console – $15.99
