It’s all about surviving the tough bosses in Elden Ring Nightreign, and making it to Day 3 of any Expedition is never guaranteed. While all classes are worth trying, in the current version of the game, some are clearly more overpowered and useful than others.
Of course, this is likely to change in future patches, as with all multiplayer games, the meta will shift as the developers buff and nerf different weapons, skills, or classes themselves. However, right now, we know who the best classes are and have assembled them into a tier list below.

Those ranked with an S represent the best of the best, but remember, some classes may be best suited to certain fights and situations, so the below rankings are for overall power and usefulness.

What’s The Best Class Currently in Elden Ring Nightreign?
While every class is great to use in Elden Ring Nightreign, at the moment, we found the best class to be the Executor.
This is because their high Arcane and Dexterity make them ideal for the always overpowered Bleed build, something that not only dominated in the original game, but continues to do so in Nightreign.
Not only does the class start with every Expedition with a weapon that causes Haemorrhage (bleed) damage, they can also equip Talismans, Relics, and secondary weapons like the Throned Whip that make this even more potent.
Equipping items that buff their Dexterity and Arcane will also continue to boost their damage output, and any skills that increase mobility make this build incredibly deadly.
While strength builds can likely do more damage in one hit, and powerful casters more from a distance, nothing in Nightreign quite matches the damage potential of Bleed builds on bosses when Haemorrhage “procs” (triggers gushing blood for massive damage) multiple times.
If more than one party member is using this build, then it becomes even more deadly, as Haemorrhage is likely to proc in half the time.
However, classes like the Wylder may be more suitable for beginners, and those who don’t enjoy playing as dexterity characters should consider one more suited to their preferred playstyle.
But while we’re in the early weeks of the game, we’re going to nail our colors to the mast and declare the Executor as the best class in Elden Ring Nightreign—at least for now.
