Battlefield 6 Leaked Skin Receives Community Backlash

A new leaked skin for Battlefield 6 has sparked discontent among the community, with many voicing their opinions against it.

Battlefield 6 developers arrived with some fantastic news yesterday, officially revealing the game’s battle royale mode and giving players a glimpse of some features. At the same time, a new leaked skin for BF6 surfaced online, and many players seem to be unhappy with the direction of this cosmetic.

Battlefield 6 Community Feels New Leaked Skin Could be the Start of More Outlandish Cosmetics

Spotted by GameRant, a new post on the r/Battlefield subreddit about the leaked Battlefield 6 skin is receiving a lot of traction from the community. The post by SpiritualBacon states that even if players do not find the skin too flashy, “the community needs to push back against skins like these.” The post notes that EA will continue to add skins until it introduces Santa to the game. Interested readers can check out the leaked BF6 skin in the post embedded below:

The leaked Battlefield 6 skin itself is not too over-the-top, it features a soldier wearing an all-black outfit with neon green paint applied to certain parts of it. However, the community feels that even though this skin might not be the worst of the lot, it could still pave the way for more cartoonish skins, similar to those seen in Call of Duty and Fortnite.

Readers should note that this is a leaked skin and has not been officially confirmed. At the same time, Battlefield 6 developers have previously stated that the upcoming title will not feature “unrealistic skins and cosmetics.”

In other news, Battlefield 6’s ‘Ring of Death’ mechanic for their battle royale mode offers a lethal twist. Additionally, a recent gameplay leak revealed BF6’s mud buildup feature. What are your thoughts on the Battlefield 6 leaked skin? Let us know through the official Insider Gaming forums.
