Asus has revealed a new 3000W power supply that’s strong enough to run four Nvidia RTX 5090 graphics cards at one time.
Announced during Computex 2025, the Asus Pro Workstation power supply unit (PSU) is a modular unit that has been designed by ASUS to run cooler—up to 50 degrees, to be specific—than the recommended safety limitation.
The PSU is 80 PLUS Platinum certified and features aluminum heatsinks to help keep the temperatures on the lower end. It’s fans are built with two ball bearings, which Asus claims will allow it to have a lifespan of “up to 80,000 hours”, which is “twice as long as sleeve bearings and exceeding even fluid dynamic bearings.”
“This helps ensure long-lasting, reliable cooling with minimal noise,” Asus says.

The unit is “PCIe 5.1 ready” with four 12V-2×6 connectors, and is ATX 3.1 compatible which should let you keep the PSU for years, even after you upgrade your other components. Speaking of those components, the unit also includes five SATA/Molex ports and six CPU/PCIe ports along with the standard motherboard connectors.
Asus hasn’t announced a release date or price on that PSU as of publishing. It’s also worth mentioning that it is a power supply geared towards AI workstations. If you were to pick one up for your standard build, you’ll need to make sure your circuit and outlet are radted for supporting the higher wattage.
