It’s been announced during its PlayStation Showcase that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will release on October 12.
The official announcement comes after it was leaked earlier today by Japanese retailers. Insider Gaming was able to corroborate several weeks ago that the game had been internally delayed from its intended August release date.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the first in a new wave of Assassin’s Creed games, with Insider Gaming understanding that around 10 games are currently in development. Three titles codenamed Nebula, Raid, and Echoes are yet to be officially announced.
As the all-new trailer shows, Assassin’s Creed certainly seems to be returning to its prior form with Mirage – it’s unequivocally a classic Assassin’s Creed title, and fans are overwhelmingly excited by that fact. There were no intense RPG elements or mythical fights to be seen in the entire trailer:
