Japanese Retailers List Assassin’s Creed Mirage to Release October 12

Every Skill In Assassin's Creed Mirage Has Been Leaked

Several Japanese retailers have listed that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will release on October 12.

First spotted by Twitter user @Renka_schedule, three individual stores, Amazon, Yodobashi, and biccamera, have listed that the title will launch on October 12.

As pointed out by Japanese video game news site Gematsu, it’s possible that the date could be a placeholder. However, the site points out that Japanese retailers generally don’t date a product unless it’s official.

The leak comes ahead of today’s PlayStation Showcase and next week’s Ubisoft Forward event, where it’s expected gameplay of the long-anticipated title will be revealed. This recent leak comes following claims several days ago that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will indeed launch on October 12. Insider Gaming was able to corroborate several weeks ago that the game had been internally delayed from its intended August release date.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be the first in a new wave of Assassin’s Creed games, with Insider Gaming understanding that around 10 games are currently in development. Three titles codenamed Nebula, Raid, and Echoes are yet to be officially announced.

Sony’s next PlayStation Showcase is scheduled to be streamed later today at 1 PM PDT, where we could get a glimpse of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
