A slew of new releases are on the horizon, and while it might not be time for the full launch of Aniimo just yet, there is an opportunity to play early through the Closed Beta.
Pawprint Studio’s free-to-play creature-capture RPG is set for a full release later this year and has already revealed an array of companions to recruit in your adventure.
If you’re keen to get a taste of Aniimo before it fully releases, Insider Gaming has all the details to sign up for the closed beta.
How to Sign Up For The Aniimo Closed Beta

Sign-ups for the Aniimo closed beta are now open, but there’s no guarantee of acceptance, and the doors aren’t going to be open for everyone.
Unlike an Open Beta, which provides free rein for all players to jump in, as long as they meet the requirements, a closed beta has a limited number of participants. Crucially, the details of what the developer is looking for might not be made public, as they’ll want a wide variety of ages, demographics, and more.
All you can do is to sign up and express interest, which puts you in the running to receive a closed beta code. Here’s how to do exactly that.
- Head to the Aniimo website.
- Click the option for ‘Closed Beta Sign-up’ on the main page.
- Complete all the questions in the external survey.
- Await news on whether you have received a spot.
What Platforms is The Aniimo Closed Beta On?
The Aniimo closed beta is only available on PC and mobile devices, with those on console having to miss out at this stage.
While Aniimo is confirmed to be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, including via Game Pass subscription with the latter, neither platform is eligible to participate in the closed beta.
It remains to be seen whether another beta will take place before launch that includes the two consoles, but in the meantime, you’ll only have a chance to play early if you’re on PC, iOS, or Android.
Again, though, there’s no guarantee you will receive a spot in the closed beta, so count yourself lucky if you do receive a code.
