Rockstar Games released GTA 6’s second trailer out of nowhere, finally giving players more details about one of the most anticipated titles in video game history. Along with the trailer, we also have some other concrete information, such as details about its characters, locations, etc. This guide will take you through all the confirmed characters in GTA 6 until now.
Rockstar has been tight-lipped about GTA 6 since it was confirmed in 2023 with Trailer 1. It took them close to one and a half years to drop Trailer 2, but they came with much more information this time. The developers have now updated their website with a boatload of new screenshots, artwork, plot details, and more.
Every GTA 6 Character Confirmed so Far
Rockstar has so far confirmed 10 GTA 6 characters, including protagonists, side characters, allies, and maybe even antagonists.
The characters seem to come from all walks of life. Some are starting from the bottom, while others already have a setup and an empire. It will be interesting to see how the lives of these diverse characters intertwine.

Jason Duval
Let’s start with the stars of the show, Jason and Lucia. Jason has been around the life of crime since childhood, growing up around “grifters and crooks”. He also served a stint in the army to mend his ways, but that didn’t work out. Since then, he has returned to the Keys and is “working for local drug runners.” At the same time, meeting Lucia has changed his life drastically, but it’s unclear whether it is for the “best or worst.”
Lucia Caminos
Lucia, who grew up in Liberty City, has always wanted “the good life her mom has dreamed of”. However, she was arrested and put in the Leonida Penitentiary because she fought for her family. We see her leave the prison with Jason at the start of GTA 6 trailer 2, and now she is ready to” change the odds in her favour” in Vice City. Lucia is also a trained fighter, showing off some serious moves in the new trailer.
Cal Hampton
This GTA 6 character is Jason’s friend, known for “snooping on Coast Guard comms” while sipping a few beers and surfing through incognito tabs. From his description, Cal seems like he could be the tech support for the duo, maybe filling in Lester’s shoes in the new title. He seems satisfied with where he is in life, but Jason’s plans might rope him into something much bigger.
Boobie Ike
The next GTA 6 character we know about is Boobie Ike, and it seems he has a significant influence on Vice City. Boobie is considered a local Vice City legend’, being one of the very few that were able to rise above the rest and create a “legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio.”
Dre’Quan Priest
Dre’Quan has always wanted to be big in the music industry since he was “dealing on the streets”, but he was considered more of a hustler than a gangster. But now that he is signed to a label, Dre’Quan is also looking to up his game and branch out more in the Vice City scene.
Real Dimez
Bae-Luxe and Roxy are known as the Real Dimez, and they have created a massive social media empire thanks to their early hit single with local rapper DWNPLY. The duo is known for “shaking down local dealers into cold, hard cash via spicy rap tracks” and is signed to Only Raw Records. It seems GTA 6 will focus heavily on music and hip-hop, considering so many characters are working in the same industry.
Raul Bautista
Raul is a seasoned bank robber who seems likely to lead Jason and Lucia into sticky situations. The GTA 6 character has a knack for taking big risks for the bigger rewards; however, he is reckless, often putting the crew in danger by raising the stakes. Raul Bautista might be one of the GTA 6 characters who bring players on for the big heists.
Brian Heder
This GTA 6 character is one of the old timers, a “classic drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys.” Brian also houses Jason rent-free at one of his properties, as long as Jason helps around with shakedowns and stops by to visit and have sangria with him and his third wife, Lori. Cal Hampton is also one of Brian’s associates.
Do we Know Who Voices GTA 6 Characters?
Details about voice actors for GTA 6 characters have yet to be revealed, and we will update this story as soon as the information becomes available.
There were rumours about Troy Baker voicing Jason last year; however, he quashed those soon enough.
