FaZe Clan has announced the temporary signing of French rifler Ryan ‘Neityu’ Aubry for its Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) roster.
This is to fill the gap left by the legendary IGL Finn ‘Karrigan’ Andersen’s departure to Team Falcons, which was confirmed earlier this week.
After being benched by ENCE, Neityu will represent FaZe for the organisation’s next three tournaments: BLAST Rivals Season 1, IEM Atlanta, and Stake Ranked Episode 2.
Falcons will not be participating in any of those three events, so the grudge match will have to wait.
With Neityu joining, it appears likely that Russel ‘Twistzz’ Van Dulken will take over the IGL role for FaZe once again.
Neityu Joins FaZe Clan
Neityu is joining FaZe for the entirety of May after spending over a month on the sidelines.
ENCE, ranked 125 in the Valve Global Rankings, benched Neityu and the entirety of its lineup on March 11, 2026, in favour of developing talent from the team’s local Finnish scene.
The 20-year-old Neityu spent 18 months with ENCE and sported an average rating of 1.06 during that time.
With them, he won the Elisa Masters Espoo 2024, which featured a mix of Tier 1 and 2 teams, after defeating HEROIC 3-1 in the final.
Before ENCE, Neityu also proved himself as quite a promising prospect while playing for MOUZ NXT.
FaZe likely picked up Neityu due to his connection to the team’s new coach, Niclas ‘enkay J’ Krumhorn.
Enkay J joined FaZe on April 16 after he was also dropped by ENCE back in March.
Now, both Neityu and enkay J will make their FaZe debuts when the team face Natus Vincere at BLAST Rivals Fort Worth on April 29.
Everything you need to know about BLAST Rivals Fort Worth has already been confirmed, including the teams and format.
