G2 Hel to return to LoL Game Changers, It’s Claimed

G2 Esports is reportedly returning to the League of Legends Game Changers scene and bringing back its G2 Hel team with a new roster.

At the end of last year, the esports organisation disbanded its women’s League of Legends team after losing in the final of the inaugural League of Legends Game Changers Rising — Riot Games’ first official LoL tournament for women and marginalised genders.

Now, according to reports from Sheep Esports, G2 is bringing back the G2 Hel brand with coaching staff and renewed funding.

G2 Hel 2026 Roster

After the return of LoL Game Changers was confirmed for 2026, G2 Esports has re-committed to entering the circuit.

The original G2 Hel roster was one of the most successful in global women’s LoL history.

They became the first women’s team to qualify for the second tier of a European Regional League after earning promotion into Spain’s Liga Nexo.

That leaves high expectations for the 2026 version of G2 Hel, which will feature the following roster:

  • Top laner — Alice ‘Wiosna’ Mossé
  • Jungler — Marta ‘Shiina’ Mesas Garrido
  • Mid laner — Maya ‘Caltys’ Henckel
  • Bot laner — Isabella ‘Izzeeri’
  • Support — Gina ‘Lumi’ Kircher

Original G2 Hel members Shiina and Caltys have both returned to the project for another year.

Caltys had remained with G2 as a content creator and will play on the new roster in the mid lane after roleswapping away from ADC.

Top laner Wiosna and support Lumi previously played together for Galions Pearl last year.

And British ADC Izzeeri has less than a year of competitive experience, but played together with Wiosna on the Gwen.G lineup that eliminated Vitality Rising Bees from Nova Series qualification and eventually reached the event’s semifinals.

Meanwhile, former G2 Hel support Ève ‘Colomblbl’ Monvoisin is competing in the Benelux ERL with Once Upon A Team in an attempt ot qualify for EMEA Masters.
