Saros is one of the biggest games releasing in 2026 and has rightfully built up a lot of attention. A Returnal successor was always going to grab headlines, but Saros’ platforms and PC status have left you all more than a bit confused.
Sony started something big a few years ago when it decided to publish PlayStation-exclusive games on PC. It’s allowed God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, and more to flourish with an additional platform, more sales, and additional exposure. Housemarque’s Returnal was also given this special treatment, but in Saros, it’s not so simple.
Can You Play Saros on PC?

You can’t play Saros when it launches day one on PlayStation 5, and based on reports, it doesn’t seem like PC players will be able to play Saros at all.
Well, you CAN own a PS5 and PC, I should clarify, so you can technically play Saros if your main format is PC, but don’t expect a Saros PC port like other recent PlayStation exclusives.

It’s hard to stay afloat of all gaming news as it constantly refreshes and moves at a pace. But Insider Gaming reported on March 4 that Sony is no longer releasing single-player PlayStation Exclusives on PC.
This means Saros, Wolverine, and many others will remain PS5-exclusive releases. Sony still hasn’t confirmed this just yet, so there’s still a modicum of hope. The likelihood is that if you do have a tanky PC and you’re looking forward to Saros, you might have to stick with Returnal as the closest alternative.
Can You Play Saros on Xbox?
Saros will not be coming to Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One consoles at any point.
Whereas PC players have been fortunate to cross some boundaries with Sony, Xbox has had no luck. The relationship has been the other way around, if anything. Gears of War, Forza, and Halo have all been released or are being released on PS5, but it’s a one-way street.
Can You Play Saros on Nintendo Switch?
You knew the answer, but let’s cross all bridges by saying Saros isn’t coming to either the Nitnenod Switch or Switch 2.
The Switch 2 is a beast. It’s getting more big-time third-party releases than its predecessor, but Sony and Nintendo aren’t in the business of swapping exclusives with each other. So, you won’t see Pickahu mixing it up with Nathan Drake, and you won’t find Arjun stepping on the toes of the Mushroom Kingdom.
