Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred DLC Rated for Nintendo Switch in Indonesia

Diablo 4’s Lord of Hatred DLC has apparently been rated by Indonesia’s ratings board for a new console. Recently, the API for the Indonesia Game Rating System (IGRS) revealed a rating for the Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred DLC specifically for the Nintendo Switch.

Specifically, the content is rated for the original Nintendo Switch, as well as for PC, Sony PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles.

The IGRS’ Rating for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Explained

The Indonesia Game Ratings System rated the forthcoming Diablo 4 expansion 18+. 18+ is the second-most mature rating the board gives. The next rating underneath it is RC (refused classification). That rating is reserved for games that contain prohibited content akin to what would land a game with an AO rating in the ESRB.

The full descriptor for the 18+ rating can be seen below:

“Game content suitable for ages 18 and over (18+) does not contain pornography, but may display references to cigarettes, alcohol, or drugs; animated violence, blood, mutilation, and cannibalism; adult humor with sexual connotations; human-like characters without showing genitals, breasts, or buttocks; gambling activities that do not involve real or digital currency; horror elements intended to provoke fear; and online conversation features.”

More on Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred

The major expansion for Diablo 4, coming on April 28, is slated to introduce two new classes for players to use. One of those classes is the Paladin, but that is exclusive to players who pre-order the expansion. It was also previously announced that the update would overhaul skill trees, with the development team joking back in February that they were putting an end to players calling the existing skill tree system “skill twigs.”

Every class will receive skill tree updates, including over 40 choices and more than 80 additional options. Players who purchased the Lord of Hatred DLC will also have 20 extra transformative skill options.
