Saros trying to replicate the success of Returnal is no mean feat, but Housemarque has had five years to develop and delve into what worked and what didn’t the first time around. Saros is a brand new game and story, yes, but the foundations have already been established.

When Is Saros Coming Out? Release Date, Explained
Saros has been given an April 30 release date.
Here’s a very fun fact for you: Returnal launched on PlayStation 4 consoles on a certain date…April 30, 2021!

This means it will be five years to the day since Housemarque’s last game, and the five-year wait for a spiritual successor to Returnal comes to an end.
Technically, it’ll be five years, but if you’re keen enough, you can actually play Saros sooner if you opt for the Saros early access incentive.
Saros Release Times
The PlayStation Store has gone early with its release times, and using time conversion, it appears as if Saros goes live at 9 PM PT on April 29, with most time zones adhering to the April 30 release date.

The PS Store is notoriously hit and miss with its placeholder start times for games. Sometimes they’re spot on, sometimes we can be left with egg on our face. Expect Saros to get a full global release map close to launch, so check back for more updates.
