HoYoverse’s upcoming life-simulation title Petit Planet is set to be a huge release in 2026, and the doors are opening once again for players to have a sneak peek at what’s on offer.
Following the Coziness Test available in November, which was only accessible for select regions, HoYoverse have announced the Stardrift Beta Test will kick off on April 21—and sign-ups have opened.
Petit Planet Closed Beta Begins April 21

HoYoverse, the makers of huge hits including Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, and Zenless Zone Zero, announced that the new round of closed beta testing will begin on April 21, available for players on PC, iOS, and Android.
The Stardrift Test introduces new neighbours, enhanced Starsea Voyage experiences, and additional activities at the Galactic Bizarre, but the closed beta approach means only those fortunate enough to receive an invitation can participate.
In Petit Planet, players fulfil the role of a Planet Tender, looking after their own planet, with a variety of activities to enjoy, including farming, fishing, beachcombing, and cooking.
As you interact with your neighbours and explore the Starsea, the universe around you expands, with Luca, the vitality that flows through all things, shaping new landscapes and bringing ‘wondrous changes to your world’.
Petit Planet is confirmed to release on PC and mobile devices later this year, with additional platforms in development, and given the success that HoYoverse has had in other genres, the title is expected to be a huge hit.
