Super Meat Boy 3D will officially be released on March 31. The date was confirmed during the Xbox Partner Preview Event on March 26. Good news for those who don’t want to wait, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass as well.
The release date was first announced by the Nintendo eShop. Initially, there was speculation that the release date was a placeholder because no official announcement had been made. However, now it’s made official. The game will also be released on PlayStation 5 and PC.
Super Meat Boy 3D Details
In Super Meat Boy 3D, you play as an animated cube of meat on a mission to rescue your girlfriend, Bandage Girl, from an evil fetus in a jar dressed in a tuxedo. The game offers a challenging difficulty reminiscent of classic Mario games, allowing players to enjoy intense precision platforming action.
This game is the latest evolution of the indie game pillar, which originally started as a browser-based Adobe Flash game. In 2010, a full-side-scroller was released and received widespread critical acclaim. Now, it officially takes the leap into 3D, ups the ante, and ramps up the action.
