Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set to release in 2027, and the first teaser trailer has been unveiled.
The Sonic the Hedgehog movie series has revitalized the iconic Sega video game franchise. The fourth film has already been confirmed to feature Amy Rose, voiced by Kristen Bell.
The new trailer confirms the return of the main cast, including Jim Carrey as Dr. Eggman, Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna, and Keanu Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog.
The teaser starts with Amy’s hammer, then shifts to the Chaos Emeralds and features the main characters. The logo also includes the number four in pink, indicating that Amy will be a central figure in the movie.

Full Cast of the Upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog Movie
In addition to Amy Rose, Sir Ben Kingsley has been cast in a significant role in “Sonic the Hedgehog 4,” though his role wasn’t revealed in the trailer.
The third Sonic film focused on Sonic Adventure 2 and introduced Shadow, ending with a teaser featuring Amy Rose. Sega first introduced Amy in Sonic CD (1993), where Metal Sonic was the antagonist.
Variety has also revealed more of the movie’s cast. This movie will feature a Parks and Recreation reunion for Ben Schwartz (voice of Sonic) and Nick Offerman. Offerman has been confirmed to join the cast. Other cast members include Tika Sumpter, Matt Berry, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, and Richard Ayoade.

Seems awful. My guess higher budget or equal to 3 and has to compete with Zelda movie. Should have been Silver, Amy and Metal are a huge step down from Shadow. Silver resonates with a younger crowd same as Shadow only older people, weird shippers, and furries love Amy. Jim Carrey also ruined 3 so everyone remembers that and will pass on this, 3 had a lot of bad just to fulfill contracts unnecessary scenes.
