Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Lets Players Choose Their Own Rewards

Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 2 goes live today, asking players to either join Team Foundation or Team Ice King, and their decisions will affect the final reward.

After a two-week delay, players are finally receiving a brand-new season of Fortnite, Showdown. If you are just getting into it, here’s a complete breakdown of all the new weapons in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, alongside the unvaulted and returning weapons. Now, check out how battle pass rewards work in this season.

Fortnite Showdown Season Changes the Final Reward Depending on Player Decisions

The latest Fortnite blog post reveals that in Chapter 7 Season 2, players will be able to choose between two teams: Team Foundation and Team Ice King. Once chosen, players have to win with their team to unlock new weapons, items, and rewards. Moreover, the team that emerges victorious towards the end of the season will have the decision to choose the final Battle Pass reward, which can either be Frost-Ready Foundation or Exalted Frost Ice King.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Brings Rivalry Gameplay and Arenas

Moreover, the latest season introduces rivalry gameplay, which lets players go head-to-head with others in the lobby. Winning these Rivalry matches provides players with points for their respective teams along with Rival Credits that can be used to purchase perks, weapons, and XP. Players will also get a new Ranked and Build-Only mode called Arenas on April 9, where they can either participate in a 1v1 boxfight or a 16-player round robin competition as a duo or solo.

In other news, here’s a guide on whether you should choose Team Ice King or Team Foundation in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. Additionally, here are all the details on the launch week bonus and an overview of everything included. What are your thoughts on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 allowing players to choose their rewards?
