Xbox Game Pass January Wave 2 Features Death Stranding

The wave 2 titles for Xbox Game Pass January 2026 have been revealed, and Death Stranding: Director’s Cut will be available to play from January 21.

It seems that Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus have one matching title for January 2026, Resident Evil Village. It makes sense to release the game this month, as the next instalment to the series, Resident Evil Requiem, will be released on February 27. Xbox Game Pass January 2026 Wave 2 Titles

There are 12 games that Xbox Game Pass subscribers can try out in January 2026. The biggest highlights from the list are Resident Evil Village, Death Stranding: Director’s Cut, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The likes of Death Stranding are usually available on PlayStation’s subscription service, but have now made it to Xbox Game Pass as well. This could be due to the partnership between Kojima Productions and Xbox for their upcoming title, OD.
