PUBG: Blindspot Early Access Release Date Announced

PUBG Studios has announced the Early Access release date for its upcoming tactical shooter PUBG: Blindspot.

In a release on Thursday, it was revealed that PUBG: Blindspot will launch in Early Access on February 5. The game will be available exclusively on PC via Steam, and is free to play.

“PUBG: BLINDSPOT is a 5v5 team-based top-down tactical shooter that delivers fast-paced, strategy-driven combat with intense firefights and realistic gunplay,” the developers say. “Blending the thrill of high-intensity shooters with the strategic depth of a top-down perspective, the game offers a level of realism and intensity more commonly associated with first-person shooters.”

The Early Access release of the game will include “a range of improvements, including enhanced UI and visual quality, refined control responsiveness, and updated balance adjustments designed to improve overall tactical depth” compared to recent demos.

After the game releases, the developers say they “plan to deliver monthly updates”. Those updates will be based on their developed plans as well as player feedback. The studio says that feedback will be “actively incorporated” during the Early Access period.

There was no mention of how long they plan for the game to be in Early Access.
