The list of Pokémon available in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been expanded with the Mega Dimension DLC, adding Mega Evolutions for the Hoenn starters to the game, but getting your hands on Blazikenite and Mega Blaziken will take quite a while.
The Hoenn starters are among the highlights of the returning Pokémon in Legends: Z-A with the Mega Dimension DLC, although they, and all of the other Pokémon added into the game, are obtainable without actually purchasing the additional content.
Whether you’ve purchased the Mega Dimension DLC or not, Insider Gaming has all the details on how to get Blazikenite and unlock Mega Blaziken in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Where to Find Blazikenite & Get Mega Blaziken in Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Like the Mega Stones for the other Hoenn starters, Blazikenite will initially be distributed as a reward during Season 7 of Ranked Online, with the official dates yet to be confirmed.
Seasons in Pokémon Legends: Z-A last for around three weeks, and the slate has now been set out for the next few months. Season 7 is currently the last of the announced seasons on the schedule, with a likely start date around the end of February or early March. Fittingly, this is around the same period as Pokémon Day 2026, the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
Before Season 7 begins, it will be impossible to obtain Mega Blaziken through legitimate means, but you won’t need to purchase the DLC to earn the item. Blazikenite will be distributed to any player who meets the required ranking, and Blaziken, and it’s pre-evolutions, are obtainable through trading.
Will Blazikenite be Available Again?
All of the Mega Stones initially distributed as rewards in Ranked Online have returned as rewards in future seasons, so the same is expected with Blazikenite. However, there is some uncertainty about what the future of Legends: Z-A looks like after the conclusion of Season 7.
The conclusion of Season 7 is expected to be around mid-to-late March, by which point Pokémon Pokopia will have been released on Nintendo Switch 2. It will also come after the expected Pokémon Presents on Pokémon Day 2026, which will likely set out the release schedule for the remainder of the year and beyond.
Therefore, the redistribution of Blazikenite could be entirely different from other Mega Stones, though it’s unlikely it will be locked to one season only and unavailable again in the future.
