Quantic Dream Says Star Wars Eclipse Development “Continues” Alongside A New Game

Development on Star Wars Eclipse continues to move forward at Detroit: Become Human developer Quantic Dream. This, despite the studio announcing on Thursday that it’s becoming more of a multi-project studio.

In a blog post on its website, Quantic Dream says that the decision comes “after years as a single-project studio”. To do this, the company opened a new studio in Montreal, moved to a new headquarters in Paris, became its own publisher, and built the next generation of its in-house technology.

With this new growth, the studio says it’s developing something different than anything it’s done before. A new “competitive multiplayer experience, born from the same spirit of curiosity and creativity that has always defined us.”

They say that the new game might surprise fans due to how different it is, but “taking risks, challenging ourselves, exploring new ways of playing and telling stories, and attempting what seems impossible, has always been part of our DNA.”

Regarding Star Wars Eclipse, not much is known about the game that was first revealed back in 2021. However, they say, development on the game “continues” and that they are “eager to share more with you in the future.”

What do you think about where Star Wars Eclipse is and this new multiplayer game Quantic Dream is creating? Leave your thoughts down in the comments below, and join the official Insider Gaming Discord server.
