Battlefield 6 has launched to the world, putting players on square one in the hunt to secure every weapon in the game, and we’ve got some tips on how you can farm XP to level up fast.
Launching to rave reviews, Battlefield 6 has opened the floodgates to a host of content to enjoy, with players already making Star Wars ships in Portal and additional content launching on October 28 at the start of season 1.

How to Farm XP in Battlefield 6
We’ve broken down our tips to farm XP in Battlefield 6 into individual sections to make it easier to navigate.
Play to Your Class
Classes in Battlefield 6 are not merely an aesthetic choice, and while weapons are not restricted across all modes, the best approach is to play to your class’s strengths and focus on the specific job your class is meant to do.
Medics, for example, should prioritise reviving players, which rewards half as much XP as a kill does, and there will be more revive opportunities in a game than kills. Assault players, meanwhile, should focus on attacking and defending objectives, which provide a boost in XP for kills if you’re within an objective zone.
Meanwhile, Recon players can earn easy XP by spotting enemies, with even more earned if a teammate eliminates them after they have been marked, while Engineers should focus on repairing allied vehicles and dealing damage to enemy vehicles, utilizing launchers, mines, and other anti-vehicle weapons.
Party Up
Playing with friends in Battlefield 6 is an easy way to earn additional rewards, with a boost of up to 15% available if you meet certain criteria.
Owning the game provides a 5% experience boost, a bonus that seems odd at launch but will make sense when the free-to-play battle royale is available, and joining a party provides an additional 5% boost.
Finally, having a PS Plus subscription and playing on PlayStation with a party of up to three other players, who also own a PS Plus subscription, provides an additional 5% boost.
Head to Portal
Battlefield’s home of user-generated content, Portal, provides a host of different experiences to try out, and it’s inevitable that some of these will be geared toward earning huge amounts of XP.
These modes have become extremely popular in games like Fortnite, though they will likely be taken down by EA if they exploit mechanics too much, but it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on Portal for modes that provide easy XP.
Even if a game isn’t built around earning XP fast, trying out these modes provides a break from the usual in Battlefield 6, which is welcome in long play sessions.
Make Use of Tokens
Battlefield 6 provides a bunch of XP tokens to boost your progression, with the majority earned by completing challenges, but they’re also distributed as purchase incentives and compensation for any errors that may occur.
Double XP tokens do exactly what they say on the tin, significantly boosting the XP you receive, and are the perfect tool for increasing your level quickly.
However, it’s worth remembering that these tokens tick down in real time, and the countdown does not stop if you come off the game, so it’s only worth activating them at the start of a longer play session.
