Skate Early Access Reveals Season 1 Roadmap

The roadmap for Season 1 of Skate Early Access has been revealed in a new trailer.

If you love skateboarding, you’ve probably heard of the Skate series before. With fun gameplay and even funnier fails, the franchise has been one of EA’s most notable. While the last release, Skate 3, was in 2010, a new free-to-play game called Skate (formatted as skate.) launched in Early Access last month. Reception has been a touch lukewarm, but it shows some promise for longtime fans of the series. Still, developer Full Circle and EA have now shown off what players can expect from Season 1 of Skate, which starts sooner than you think.

Skate Early Access Season 1 Starts October 7th, Features New Areas and Events

In the video, shown above, we get to see a taste of what’s to come of Skate Early Access Season One. The season runs from October 7th, 2025 to December 2nd, 2025. As we see in the video, there are some new things coming to San Vansterdam, like a new skatepark across a glass dome. In the spirit of Halloween, Skate is bringing Skate-o-Ween (starting October 21st to November 11th), which will let your skaters some scary new costumes to ride around with. After that, from November 11th to December 2nd, a new Fall-themed festival, 7-Ply Maple Harvest, will occur and include new events. More information on the events is available on the official blog here.

New to Season 1 of Skate Early Access is the skate.pass, which includes two tracks, one free standard and one premium. With it, you can earn Tix that you can spend on new cosmetics and such in the in-game store. As for rewards for the season, there will be 82 tiers for fans to work up to get new board decals, gestures, and avatars. Finally, new songs are being added to the game, all set with a 90s theme. The songs can be found below:

  • Bad Religion – Against The Grain
  • Dinosaur Jr. – Freak Scene
  • Gang Star – Full Clip
  • Jane’s Addiction – Stop!
  • Sonic Youth – Teen Age Riot
  • Joey BAD4$$ – Pardon Me
  • Ice Cube – Bop Gun (One Nation)
  • Naughty By Nature – It’s On
  • Operation Ivy – Sound System
  • Skegss – L.S.D (Live. Sleep. Die)

  • Hopefully Saudi’s make actual games again. Bring back proper games SSX, Def Jam, NBA Street, Mercenaries, all that stuff. Hopefully they don’t continue this trash. Could Dead Space 2 remake happen now? Even 3 which has a following now. UFC games could be good again, Fight Night could be brought back with BKFC.
