Nearly four years to the day since it announced the game to the World, Insomniac has revealed the latest trailer for Marvel’s Wolverine.
The gameplay trailer came during the latest PlayStation State of Play event, and it gave players a look at gameplay and different versions of the titular character.
In addition to the trailer, it was confirmed that Wolverine is planned for release in Fall 2026. That said, a specific release date wasn’t revealed just a seasonal window. Insomniac also gave more in-depth details to the game, including other characters for the game. More details, they say, will be revealed about the game in Spring 2026.
Insider Gaming was the first to report that Wolverine could appear at the event after sources said that the next trailer for the game had been completed and ready to air.
First announced in September 2021, Marvel’s Wolverine has been kept behind the curtain for years. Fans did get an unintended look at the game in late 2023 when Insomniac was victim of a ransomware attack that leaked over 1.67 terabytes of data. That data include build videos and files of Wolverine along with other Insomniac game plans.
