You’ve already had a chance to get your Battlefield 6 fix through the Open Beta and Battlefield Labs, so let’s see if early access is the next natural step to get you closer to the action and into the fight.
Battlefield 6 is no longer a dream; it’s a destructive eventuality. A reckoning for reality that will give the FPS genre a new shot in the arm. If the Battlefield 6 Open Beta is anything to go by, it’s certain to cause a huge rush—figuratively and literally, through Rush. If you didn’t play the beta, there’s still the ongoing Battlefield Labs test giving you a chance to have your say in the game’s development.
Whatever happens, October 10 is the official release date. But early access would let you step onto the battlefield early.
Can You Play Battlefield 6 With Early Access?

EA has confirmed that Battlefield 6 won’t be getting any form of early access, and it’s a simultaneous worldwide launch—depending on your region and timezone.
It’s well-known that Battlefield 6 has a standard edition and the upgraded Phantom Edition. Apart from controversy regarding its skins allegedly being tweaked before launch, the more expensive version features additional content. Many upgraded editions include an early access option, ranging from 48 hours, all the way up to seven days.
Even if you secure Battlefield 6 Phantom Edition, you don’t get early access. The game’s FAQ even addresses this issue. Under a question about early access, here’s what EA says: “No. Battlefield 6 will launch worldwide on October 10, 2025, for everyone.”
Will Battlefield 6 Have DLC?
While there’s no early access, Battlefield 6 is going to be supported by EA with a full post-launch DLC schedule akin to other live-service games.
You can’t play BF6 early, which will be a blow for many of you. However, as long as you board the Battlefield 6 train, you’re in for a content-rich journey. We’d expect all the usual updates and content: New and remastered maps, fresh game modes, more weapons and skins, and more Battle Passes to grind.
