After a stacked September full of big releases, October isn’t slowing down either, with the release of Ghost of Yotei being one of the highlights. If you’re wondering if the title is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, or PlayStation 4, we have all the details.
Set for release on October 2, Ghost of Yotei is one of the biggest launches set for PlayStation 5 this year, with excitement for the title rising further following the reveal of the full trophy list.
While the PS5 release of Ghost of Yotei is well known, questions are being asked about other platforms, but this guide has everything you need.
Can You Play Ghost of Yotei on PC?

No, Ghost of Yotei will not be available to play on PC when it launches on October 2, as the title is a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
However, like many other Sony-published titles in recent years, Ghost of Yotei will likely land on PC later down the line, though no details are known about that just yet.
Ghost of Tsushima took just under four years to be released on PC, having initially launched on PlayStation 4. If a similar time frame is to be set, that means we might not see Ghost of Yotei on PC until 2029.
Can You Play Ghost of Yotei on Xbox Series X|S?
No, Ghost of Yotei will not be available on Xbox Series X|S upon its October 2 launch, as the title is a PlayStation exclusive.
While PlayStation and Xbox have a much closer relationship than they have in the past, with previous PlayStation console exclusive titles Black Myth: Wukong and Helldivers 2 both making a move to the Microsoft platform, there is no suggestion that Ghost of Yotei will follow suit.
If such a move were to be made, it would likely see Ghost of Tsushima release on Xbox first, pushing a Ghost of Yotei release even further back. However, even that seems unlikely.
Can You Play Ghost of Yotei on PlayStation 4?
Ghost of Yotei is a next-gen exclusive title on PlayStation 5 at launch, with no PlayStation 4 release planned.
While Ghost of Yotei may arrive on other platforms like PC later down the line, a PS4 release is extremely unlikely to take place as the game has been developed for PS5. As such, the PS4 system will not be tuned to handle the title.
We’re now well into the PS5 era of gaming, so it’s quite surprising that these questions remain about last-gen releases. However, while some titles continue to arrive on PS4, Ghost of Yotei will not be among them.
