Delta Force Black Hawk Down Campaign Doesn’t Have Co-Op On Console

Delta Force is finally available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and while many had been excited for the free-to-play shooter, there is one feature missing that has fans concerned. Black Hawk Down, Delta Force’s campaign mode, offers players the option to either go alone or play in co-op. At least, that’s what it is on PC.

Loading into the mode on console only gives players the option of “Fighting Alone”. A visit to the game’s community page on Steam and Discord reveal multiple discussions on the matter. However, neither the game’s developer Team Jade or publisher TiMi Studio Group have commented publicly.

“[It’s] sad because they said on 3 months ago crossplay and co-op campaign on consoles,” one user on the game’s Discord wrote. “[It’s] like they lie us [sic]”.

Insider Gaming has reached out to both Delta Force’s developer and publisher for comment on the missing co-op option. Should a response be received, it will be added to this story.

What do you think of Delta Force’s Black Hawk Down campaign not having co-op at launch? Let us know down below, and take the discussion further in the official Insider Gaming forums.

  • I play on console and enemies happen to shoot through floors at random, in the first building.
If you manage to hit the 2nd building – good luck trying to figure out which doors are solid and which one s aren’t, some collisions are missing from random doors each time you load in – allowing enemy NPCs to shoot you from a. Spot you can’t see them at.
I get it’s supposed to be “realistic” but where’s the fun in it if there’s not difficulty options

  • It’s impossible to get through the second building by yourself cause you run out of bullets! After putting my rifle on single fire I did manage to get a little further but after running out of ammo in both my rifle and pistol and literally wasting a good couple of hours trying to pass the second building I gave up and definitely won’t be wasting any more time trying to play that game mode until they fix the co-op gameplay! It really made me mad they screwed this up so badly! If it’s not fixed soon I’ll be uninstalling that game mode to make room for other games that actually work correctly and probably never try it again!

  • I made it to the 3 mission alone in there is no way you going to beat this without a squad I can’t stress this enough this isn’t call of duty it delta force I hate that people play most shooters as if they are playing call of duty it’s just nuts if you want to play that go buy the game
