Excitement for Battlefield 6 continues to rise as more news emerges about the title, and a first look at the editions has been revealed.
Launching October 6, Battlefield 6 is the first title in the franchise since Battlefield 2042 released in 2021 and will launch exclusively on next-gen consoles.
As is expected with modern gaming, there are several options to choose from when purchasing Battlefield 6, with different pre-order bonuses, and we’ve got all of the details you need.
All Battlefield 6 Editions & Prices
There are two versions of Battlefield 6 available: The Standard Edition and the Phantom Edition, the latter serving as a Deluxe Edition.
According to Dealabs, there are two Battlefield 6 Editions. Exact details of what is included in all editions are yet to be revealed, though the Standard Edition likely consists of just the base game, perhaps with some extra pre-order bonuses. If the latter is the case, some pre-order bonuses could be time-restricted and offered as an early pre-order bonus.
Meanwhile, the Phantom Edition will have extra in-game items, potentially currency to spend on cosmetics and weapon skins, though this is all to be confirmed. However, we do know this version is a Digital Exclusive and not a physical Collector’s Edition.
PC versions of Battlefield 6 will be slightly cheaper than console editions, though the full price point in dollars is yet to be revealed. So far, we only know the price in euros.
The table below includes all the details we know, including prices. Check back to this page for full details of what each version includes as soon as the information is available.
| Edition | PC Price | Console Price | Bonuses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | €69.99 | €79.99 | TBC |
| Phantom Edition | €99.99 | €109.99 | TBC |
| Phantom Edition Upgrade | €29.99 | €29.99 | TBC |
Early Battlefield 6 Pre-Order Bonus Information
No pre-order bonuses have been revealed for Battlefield 6 so far, but actual pre-orders commence from July 31, 2025.
An initial trailer is due to be released on July 24, and Insider Gaming exclusively reported a full reveal is planned for July 31. Either of those reveals could come alongside more detailed pre-order bonuses.
Any pre-order bonuses for Battlefield 6 are likely to be cosmetic-oriented. For example, Battlefield 2042’s pre-order pack included a legendary skin, a melee takedown knife, a weapon charm, a player card background, and a nametag. A similar approach is expected for Battlefield 6.
Make sure to check back to this page, as we’ll update it with any pre-order bonuses for Battlefield 6 when they are announced. What version of Battlefield 6 are you planning on picking up? Let us know in the Insider Gaming forum.

Unsure as to why anyone in their right mind would be even thinking about pre-ordering Battlefield 6. They deliberately deceived the player base with 2042 and they went down the arrogant, corporate mentality of ” we know what’s best for you peasants” with BF1 and 5. They still haven’t decided what they want the finished game to include and at this point it seems they’re fishing for reactions through “leaks”. They had a winning formula that corporate is scared of. They had dedicated servers run by communities, individuals had a choice on where they played and with who. For classic Battlefield fans, the franchise is done, it would take an absolute miracle to salvage any form of respect after what was taken from us over the years.
Never preorder a game ever again. Especially a multiplayer online game, but literally any game. Preorder used to exist to ensure you could secure a physical copy. There is no point in spending your money early on a digital game, it’s just for the the corporation to secure money before you can see the game and entice you with a skin you’ll forget about after two weeks because of all the other skins. Playing 3 days early isn’t worth $60-120 if the game sucks. Wait for release and public reaction. The devs of battlefield especially have not proven that they have a reliable IP worth trusting with your money without seeing the product first. Save your money, wait for reviews.
I personally enjoyed 2042 regardless of it’s rocky start. Played the alpha for BF6 and thoroughly enjoyed my time. A pre-order from me is confirmed.
So what I’m hearing is I’ll save 1 penny if I buy the regular version and then upgrade to the deluxe edition afterwards?
