Marvel Rivals fans have expressed their disappointment with the prices of the new swimsuit skins coming in the Summer Party event, comparing the cost to the Battle Pass and previous Event Passes.
Highly requested swimsuit skins for several characters in Marvel Rivals are arriving in the Summer Party event, with just hours to go until the big kick-off, but details of the pricing structure have caused a stir in the community.
A price of 990 Lattice has been revealed for the Summer Party Premium Pass, with a bundle of 1000 Lattice costing $9.99, and many players don’t feel it offers the same value as other passes available.
How the Summer Party Premium Pass Compares to Other Marvel Rivals Passes

The highlights of the Premium Pass are two swimsuit skins, for The Thing and Luna Snow, though other cosmetic rewards, including MVP animations, Mood Bundles, Emoji Bundles, and Nameplates are available—though players don’t think there’s enough value included.
In a Reddit post, the price of the pass was compared to the seasonal Battle Pass, also priced at 990 Lattice, with the main difference being that the Battle Pass includes 600 Lattice in the rewards. Effectively, this means it’s “600 more” than the Battle Pass.
Another added that the Battle Pass has significantly more rewards, with 10 skins and the ability to convert excess Chronos into units, compared to the two skins and other cosmetic rewards available in the event Premium Pass.
Players also compared it to the previous event Premium Pass, which included more Emotes, Sprays, Nameplates, and MVP screens, though it had fewer Emoji bundles, which was priced at 690 Lattice—adding that they didn’t feel the jump in price was worthwhile.
Despite that, the majority of players still believe that the skins and pass in the event will sell well, considering the huge demand there has been for swimsuit costumes, though they hope direct feedback from the players will lead to a change in approach.
