Black Ops 6 is easily one of my favorite Call of Duty games in years. Treyarch has the knack for pushing the franchise forward. Omnidirectional movement wasn’t for everyone, but you can’t deny its innovation. It had a cracking campaign and some great Zombies maps.
But in the blink of an eye, its lifecycle is nearly done, and we’re turning our attention to Black Ops 7. Its reveal event has been announced, and we know its start date, expected times, and where to tune in for the action.
When is The Black Ops 7 Reveal Event?
The Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 worldwide event is set for August 19.
Surprisingly, the official announcement didn’t come from Treyarch or Activision. We learned the event’s date through the king of gaming ceremonies himself—the one and only Geoff Keighley.
His official X account had this to say: “CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS 7 worldwide reveal at Opening Night Live kicks off gamescom in a massive way. Tuesday, August 19.”
Opening Night Live serves as the curtain raiser for Gamescom—the biggest and most-attended gaming convention in the world. It’s only fitting that it gets the pleasure of showing off Black Ops 7.
Black Ops 7 Reveal Event Start Times
We don’t know the exact time Black Ops 7 will be shown, but Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase starts at 11 AM PT, and the presentation usually lasts for about two hours.
Unfortunately, all games, segments, and reveals during Opening Night Live are never given exact timeslots. It makes sense as it encourages us all to tune in for the majority of the show. This helps viewers, sponsors, and gives games a spotlight that you might miss otherwise.
