College Football 25 supported crossplay, but let’s see if EA decided to bring the feature back for College Football 26.
In College Football 26, there are three primary game modes: Dynasty, Road to Glory, and Ultimate Team. For Dynasty, EA added over 300 real-world coaches, improved the coaching carousel, introduced a trophy room, enhanced transfer portal consistency, and made other changes.
As for Road to Glory and Ultimate Team, EA listened to community feedback and made much-needed quality-of-life changes and added the ability to start Road to Glory in high school. Excluding Road to Glory, these game modes are much more fun when you can play with friends.
Does College Football 26 Have Crossplay?
College Football 26 supports crossplay between PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, meaning next-generation console players can either team up or go against each other.
Just like College Football 25, CFB 26 won’t be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, or the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. As for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users, the feature is available and straightforward to use.
How to Use Crossplay in College Football 26
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to use crossplay.
- Open the EA Connect menu in College Football 26
- Navigate to the Player Search tab.
- Search for a player using their EA Identification number or by using their platform identifier (Xbox Series X|S gamertag or PSN ID).
- Invite them to a game or Dynasty save.
Which College Football 26 Modes Support Crossplay?
In College Football 26, you can play cross-platform in Dynasty, Road to the College Football Playoff, Ultimate Team, and Play a Friend.
This game marks the first year that cross-play is available in Dynasty. The feature allows you to create a 32-person Online Dynasty with friends.
In Ultimate Team, the Auction House does not support crossplay. As a result, PlayStation 5 players can only purchase cards from listings on the same console and vice versa. This might make cards more expensive, as there will be less supply and more demand because it doesn’t account for the entire player base.
Can You Turn Crossplay Off in College Football 26?
Crossplay is enabled by default, but you can opt out, regardless of which platform you are on.
Cross-play is enabled by default in Online Dynasties but can be turned off by the commissioner in League Settings.

Xbox Series X|S
- Go to your Xbox settings.

PlayStation 5
- Go to the In-game Settings tab.
- Select Gameplay Settings.
- Toggle the crossplay option to off.
